Welcome to the 2021 Kāinga Ora Virtual Investor Day

Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities is delighted to welcome you to its second annual Investor Day. KangaNews is working with Kāinga Ora on this fully interactive virtual event, which is taking place on 14 September 2021 at 2pm New Zealand time and will also be available to watch on demand.

World Clock

The Investor Day is an opportunity to understand more about Kāinga Ora and its roles of being a world-class public housing landlord and partnering to deliver urban development projects of all sizes.

It is a chance to hear from several senior managers who will provide insights into Kāinga Ora, its work and financing strategy. This ranges from the thousands of public, affordable and market homes the agency is building in all parts of the country, to supporting customer wellbeing and working with the development community, Māori, local and central government, and others to deliver quality urban development.

Kāinga Ora has a key role in implementing recent government initiatives, including administering a contestable infrastructure fund to enable infrastructure to support new housing supply, and a land programme for Kāinga Ora to strategically acquire and develop land to increase housing supply and improve affordability.

This year Kāinga Ora is pleased to include an additional panel discussion for the programme, focused on the organisation’s sustainability journey. The panel will feature key representatives discussing the Kāinga Ora environment and customer programme strategies and key activities.

All panels will be interactive sessions, with the opportunity to ask questions of the Kāinga Ora representatives.
